You may have noticed some of Make it Play it is missing. Make it Play it has always been a 1 man operation. Originally, I'd hoped to make enough money to give it some much needed improvements over time, but the numbers haven't been there and I've had to focus on other projects. I don't want to abandon Make it Play it, but I have to make things manageable.

My current plan is to trim Make it Play it to focus only on the monthly game contests. That was the original plan, and it seems to be the most interesting. If I was a visitor to Make it Play it, that'd be about all that I'd be interested in.

Prizes! Prizes are fun, make things more interesting, more to gain and more to lose, etc etc. I want awesome prizes for our visitors. What would it take to get you to compete in contests every month? The idea for Make it Play it started as nothing more than a free competition between friends. Then the idea came up for a pot, sorta like poker, with the winner taking the pot.

I would love to get sponsors to help us out. Since we support Adobe, they agreed to support us by donating Flash CS4 for our first few contests. That was awesome and a huge boost. Unfortunately, to this day Adobe has not followed through and our contest winners have not received their 1st place prizes. Really lame Adobe. We'd love to get more sponsors and would be willing to give you ad space and a few other ideas I've thought about - but you have to be willing to follow through on your promises. Since the problems with Adobe, I might have to ask for prizes shipped to me in advance just to make sure you get what you're supposed to win.
